Last week, I attended my tenth IFPE Show out of the eleven that have taken place.  My simple takeaway ... this was the best one ever. As in the past, IFPE 2017 took place at the massive Las Vegas Convention Center and was held in conjunction with the ConExpo/ConAgg Show, an overwhelmingly large event itself.  The IFPE was staged on the second floor of the very nice and very large South Hall with hundreds of great exhibits. Why was this the best ever ... at least from my prospective?  Well, I had a tremendous opportunity to meet with many existing advertising customers while meeting many new prospective customers as well.  There was a wide array of mostly hydraulic technology on display at the event and many educational opportunities available to all attendees. I had the opportunity to spend time with many of our customers and attend one amazing hospitality party given by one of them.  This event offers many networking opportunities. 2017 is a really big year for fluid power events!  It starts with the 2017 IFPE/ConExpo ConAg Show in Las Vegas.  This is the biggest fluid power event in North America. With over 450 exhibitors, this gathering of fluid power exhibitors will attract tens of thousands of visitors in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The very next week, the city of Indianapolis will host the NTEA Work Truck Show, the must attend event for the work truck industry.   For more information, visit their website. Next on the list of events is not an actual trade show but an association conference with a trade show embedded within the event.  It is the NAHAD Annual Meeting & Convention being held April 2-6, 2017 at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.  Of course NAHAD stands for the Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution and the attendees are both hose and accessory distributors and manufacturers.   Click here for more information.
