Promote Your IFPE Booth Early

Image
As you already know, the IFPE Show, scheduled for March 2020 in Las Vegas, is the biggest fluid power event in the country.  It is not too early to start promoting your company’s participation in the event with some publicity about the products and solutions that will be displayed. We have put together a promotional plan at Fluid Power World that starts early in 2019 and will generate interest in your booth and your products, making your investment in IFPE 2020 so much more lucrative.  Our plan also offers you the advertiser flexibility across multiple channels of promotion including our print magazine, our websites, our e-newsletters, and social media. This momentum of the program will build over all of 2019 leading up to the big event that takes place every third year.  With the amount of time and budget invested in this huge event, we can help your company to make the most of it by starting to promote now. I would like to send you more information so please let me

Making Your Sales Leads Actionable & Manageable

Image
For the past several years, I have been telling my advertising clients that Fluid Power World will increase your brand awareness and generate sales leads.  This is certainly what a marketing program with us will do for your company. Let's take a more specific look at the lead generation part of that value proposition.  We will generate sales leads for your products with a marketing program specially designed for your company.  Through your website, trade shows, and other marketing efforts, you will also generate many other sales leads as well.  How you manage those leads is critically important to increasing sales for your business. Going for the Gold

Image
We are very thankful for all of our exhibitors and sponsors for the 2019 Fluid Power Technology Conference scheduled for May 2019 in Milwaukee. I would like to call attention to a special sponsorship opportunity that includes a booth at the event along with a presentation from our stage or meal sponsorship.  It is our Gold Sponsorship and here is a list of our Gold Sponsors so far for 2019. The unique value to a Gold Sponsorship is that it gives our sponsors the opportunity to tell their solution story from the stage of the FPTC.  These seminar sessions presented by our Gold Sponsors deliver valuable ideas and solutions to our attendees and it encourages further discussions at their respective booths. For many products, promotion is essential for increasing sales but explaining the story is also necessary for prospective buyers to fully understand the value proposition and solutions provided.  We can also capture and host your presentation with a Virtual Classroom session

Is there a webinar in your future

Image
When I mention webinars to my clients as a source for telling your product and sales story, I am often met with an answer something like, "I think that is a good idea but I am not sure we have the time to put it together."  I completely understand that response as organizing and executing a good technical webinar can be difficult and time consuming. At Fluid Power World, we have a solution.  We can include your company and your sales message in a webinar that we put together featuring an expert speaker on a subject that relates to your products and all we need from you is a commercial message. In our webinar series, we have put together a list of topics and scheduled dates for presentation.  Our expert speakers present the content and they are introduced by one of our editors acting as the moderator.  Our sponsors have their commercial messages embedded within the webinar along with an invitation to contact those sponsors for solutions to their design and maintenance

Staying Current

Image
One of the things that one learns from working for a very long time is the importance of staying current.  Even though a person works for many years in the same industry and perhaps in the same job, once they drop out/retire/ leave, they can fall behind quickly. This phenomena is especially true as change happens more rapidly.  Technology is changing at an ever-increasing rate.  For that reason, continuation in an industry and at a job is really important for success in your career. If your career is fluid power including design engineering, maintenance, supply chain, marketing, or any other profession, staying current with the fluid power technology is critical.  Staying current with communication technology is equally important as social media, YouTube, digital communication, cell phone communication all continue to evolve. This is where we at Fluid Power World can help.  Not only do we offer the state-of-the-art content but we serve it to our audience across many platforms.

Branding

Image
So we have this economic system called capitalism.  While capitalism has its faults, it remains probably the best economic system to offer opportunity to everyone.  Would you agree? Accepting capitalism as the system where we will spend our professional time, and that includes most or all Americans, we need to understand the need for branding whether we like it or not.  Branding is what drives marketing which drives sales leading to your company's success within our system. That is where we come in.   Fluid Power World  offers fluid power component manufacturers and distributors the opportunity to tell your branding story to an audience of qualified buyers and specifiers of fluid power components and related products. In 2019, we have more ways than ever for your company to tell your brand story to our audience while gaining their attending and generating some sales leads too! Your company has a brand story to tell.  If you didn't, your company would

Eliminating obstacles and frustrations

Image
Innovation is a driver for success in industry.  I don't think there is much to dispute that fact.  Let's ask the question, What is good innovation versus useless innovation?  I really don't have the answer to that question but I do have some input. Any new products or processes that will eliminate obstacles to accomplishing tasks of any kind or frustrations about getting things done is probably a good innovation.  One that comes to mind in the consumer world is cable TV.  An area where we cause some innovation is in the selections of TV packages available to consumers. I get frustrated by the fact that I only need a few TV channels but most cable companies seem to assume that everyone wants the larger package.  Wouldn't it be great if one of the companies innovated a customized package for a reasonable price? Another is the cell phone options available.  It would be nice to have a plan that only offers the specific services needed rather that the full capa
