Reviewing another successful Fluid Power Technology Conference

Over the past 3 days at Cleveland State University, our Fluid Power Technology Conference has been the site for excellent technical presentations, interesting exhibits, and lots of networking.  I would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our exhibitors and sponsors who made this event possible. I also thank our long list of excellent speakers who all went the extra mile to give the very best an and most insightful presentation possible.  For the full list, please refer to this link From beginning to end, the ideas, concepts, solutions, and information shared with our audience was exceptional.  From IoT to mobile hydraulics, from electrification to engineering professionalism our audience received excellent content. Fluid Power Basics presented at FPTC CLE

We welcome Tom Wanke of the Milwaukee School of Engineering to present a course on Fluid Power Basics at the November Fluid Power Technology Conference being held in Cleveland on November 19-20, 2019 at CSU.  The Basics session will be presented on Monday, November 18, 2019 also at the CSU Convocation Center. Tom has been associated with the Fluid Power Technology Conference since it was launched in 2016 and he has presented content at each of the four previous conferences, all held at MSOE.  We are bringing Tom to Cleveland to continue his educational course titled Fluid Power Basic Workshop to be presented from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Monday November 18, 2019. Fluid Power Technology Conference Review Part 2

The second day of our May 2019 event at MSOE was the first official day of the conference at the Kern Center.  I had the privilege of getting things started with my usual introductions. I was pleased to have the opportunity to give an overview of Fluid Power World, our mission, and the purpose of our Fluid Power Technology Conference.  I also had the opportunity to announce that our next Fluid Power Technology Conference will be held in Cleveland at Cleveland State University. The event will be held in November 2019 at CSU with the specific dates to be announced soon! The first day of seminar presentations went very well with the topics including Robotics, Hose Connections, Multi-Conntectors, Accumulators, Ductile Iron, Adapators, and then lunch.  Thank you very much to all of our exhibitors and presenters who made this a very successful event.

Fluid Power Technology Conference

This will be the first of several posts about our 2019 Fluid Power Technology Conference held at the Kern Center at MSOE in Milwaukee on May 13-15, 2019.  Let me just start by saying that the Conference was a success in many ways. We offered really great content from our classrooms to the Arena Stage to the Field House stage to the individual booths set up by our sponsors. On Monday, we offered two full-day workshops at the Grohman Tower which is right next to the Kern Center.  One was titled "Advanced Hydraulics Mashup" presented by Tom Blansett of the International Fluid Power Society and it included about 25 attendees who spent the entire day learning. The other session presented on Monday was "Basics" taught by Tom Wanke, Director of the Fluid Power Institute and Industry Relations.  That session was also attended by about 25 individuals interested in gaining more basic knowledge of fluid power technology.  The day concluded with a tour of the...

The fourth annual  Fluid Power Technology Conference  offers a three-day program with technical presentations geared towards OEM design engineers and after-market professionals in the maintenance, service and repair sectors. The 2018 Fluid Power Technology Conference was very successful and it continues to grow in exhibitors and attendees.  The content presented from the 2 stages at the Kern Center at the Milwaukee School of Engineering was outstanding from the prospective of quality and delivery.  We were thrilled to have Astrid Mozes of Eaton Corp doing a keynote session.
