The Fabulous Bellagio

Thank you NAHAD for organizing and conducting a really great Annual Convention at the fabulous Bellagio resort in Las Vegas. If you haven't had the chance to visit this super nice property, it would be a good destination on your next visit to Las Vegas.  Take some time to watch the fountain show while you are there. The 2019 NAHAD Annual Meeting & Convention was great from start to finish.  From the golf outing on Friday to the closing party on Tuesday, all of the planned events were successful.  Speed networking, hospitality parties, and planned meeting sessions for attending delegates all added to the value of attending NAHAD. I was particularly impressed with the speakers at the event including Mike Staver on How to Stay Calm Under Pressure and Dirk Beverage on How to Create Relevancy in the Age of Rapid Change.   I learned a lot.   The Showcase of Hose Solutions taking place on Tuesday was the highlight of the event for me.  ...

2018 Fluid Power Handbook

It's that time of year again.  We just published our 2018 Fluid Power Handbook from Fluid Power World magazine and digital media network. Click on the image above for a link to the digital edition of this Handbook.  Fluid power technology is used in many markets including packaging, off-highway, mining, offshore/marine, material handling, construction, aerospace, automation, robotics, and entertainment.  We cover application stories in those markets in all the other issues of Fluid Power World .  In this one, the Fluid Power Handbook, we focus on the components that make the machinery work in each of these markets. Timely Topics and Lots of Networking at 2018 NAHAD

Well, another successful NAHAD Annual Meeting & Convention has concluded at the beautiful JW Marriott in Marco Island, Florida.  It is good news that the resort has recovered from last year's devastating hurricane and a very pleasant and successful event was held there this week. Some of the topics presented include:  Economic Update:  A Good Year Ahead by Alan Beaulieu and Is Amazon an Existential Threat to Your Business by Jonathan Taplin.  Herb Meyer spoke on What in  the World is Going On?  David Nour presented on his book Co-Create - How to Think & Lead Differently About the Evolution of Your Business.  A Women in NAHAD Workshop was also conducted. There was golf, magnificent hospitality event, excellent meals, and lots of opportunities for meeting with colleagues, customers, prospective customers, and even competitors.  This event is a valuable networking and interacting forum for all stakeholders in the hose, fitting, coupl...
