Hydraulic Fluid Cleanliness Discussed at FPTC

Image
Our Fluid Power Technology Conference will cover many very important fluid power topics.  Hydraulic Fluid Cleanliness is always a topic of great interest to OEM Design Engineers and to Maintenance Professionals as well. Here is a quick preview of a session to be presented by MP Filtri: Cleanliness Monitoring and the Advantages of Online/Inline Particle Counters Against Bottle Sampling Analysis When comparing Bottle sampling to online Analysis there are many ways to influence the readings and results of bottle sample. In the Hydraulic industry the general opinion when comparing results from Bottle sampling to online particle counting analysis, the minimum difference between the two methods is generally 1 to 2 codes. (Online Particle counting being the cleaner). This is when the bottle sampling is carried out to the correct standard of ISO 4021. This is includes using clean certified sample bottle cleanliness (ISO 3722) . When sampling is carried out and the above standards are not
