Our Annual Company Meeting

Image
Every year around this time, the team at WTWH Media gathers in Cleveland to review the past year and make plans for success for the current year.  I am happy to say that this  year's meeting shows that our company is on track for continued success in the B-to-B Media world. This meeting provides an opportunity for all of our employees to learn more about all of our business units including Fluid Power World.  Each group has a short presentation used to describe all that we have to offer and now we are doing.  Over the years' I have had the honor of presenting the Fluid Power World story to the rest of the company. This year, we had a new twist and Mary Gannon, our Editor, presented our story.  Mary did a fantastic job of presenting our story because she is passionate about fluid power and Fluid Power World magazine and digital media network. The night before, Mary received the honor of Editor of the Year for 2019 for WTWH Media.  Congratulations Mary and great job

Pneumatic Tips

Image
As a part of our digital network, we offer a Pneumatic Tips website and a Pneumatic Tips e-newsletter.  There is often a misconception regarding pneumatic technology as being a part of "fluid power."  Well, for those in the industry, pneumatics are considered fluid power and the fluid is air. That is why every issue of Fluid Power World magazine features an article on pneumatics.  For 2020, here is our lineup April - Pneumatics in Food and Beverage June - Pneumatics in IoT July -  Our Fluid Power Handbook covers many pneumatic categories August - Pneumatics in Packaging and Pneumatic Cylinders product spotlight October - Pneumatics in Medical Applications December - Pneumatics in Automation The content found in our publication is also shared on our Pneumatic Tips website and in our Pneumatic Tips e-newsletter.  Check them out, everything pneumatic.

Fluid Power Technology Conference in Minnesota

Image
In June 2020, we will hold our Fluid Power Technology Conference at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul.  The format will remain the same as our previous successful events in Milwaukee and Cleveland. The two-day event will feature exhibits by manufacturers and distributors of fluid power components and related products.  The two days will be filled with technical fluid power seminar sessions presented by our own presenters as well as the exhibitors. There will be meals served, tours provided, lots of networking, and keynote sessions.  Mark your calendar for June 16-17, 2020.  If you would like to exhibit, please contact me at ference@wtwhmedia.com. Our Conference will then be moving to the Detroit area in November with the same format making the Minnesota event a once in three-or-so years event.  So #SeeYouAttheU

It's what we do

Surrounding our advertisers' advertising message with great content and delivering it to an interested audience of fluid power buyers and specifiers.  At Fluid Power World, it's what we do. Today, I want to call particular attention to our websites. We offer our advertisers and readers a network of five fluid power websites listed above.  I am happy to report that the number of users and page views continues to grow in this network.  That growth is attributable to excellent content shared by our editorial team lead by Mary Gannon with lots of contributions from component manufacturers, distributors, and machine builders as well as maintenance professionals. If you have not done so already and are wondering what I am talking about, please visit our network. For our advertisers using the many ad positions on our websites, we have surrounded their ad message with great content and delivered it to our audience of interested fluid power buyers and specifiers.  Its'

We have big plans for IFPE 2020

Image
Our team at Fluid Power World magazine and digital media network is gearing up for IFPE 2020 which is taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 10-14, 2020.  As you know, it is the biggest fluid power event in the U.S. and it only happens every third year. We have increased our presence at the event to a 20- by 10-ft booth at IFPE and we will have our whole team there.  We have invited our super contributor, Carl Dyke of CD Industrial to join us in our booth to share his fluid power wisdom with the many, many attendees at the show. Our media coverage of the event includes our February print issue, online previews, e-newsletters, video, and social media.  If your company is a marketer of fluid power components and related products, I would like to put together a promotional package with you to promote your company and products. We still have some time to get going on a promotional package but not a lot of time.  Please contact me at mference@wtwhmedia.com of g
