In April, we will discuss Mobile Hydraulics in Mining Applications where hydraulics meet the challenge of very demanding and harsh environments.Having more information about component selection for mining applications is certainly important to our mobile audience.
On the industrial side, our editors will take a look at Offshore Applications in preparation for the always-important Offshore Tech Conference held in Houston in May.With energy pricing somewhat stabilized, this market has become settled for component suppliers.
Food Processing Equipment will be the focus of our pneumatic feature in April.Pneumatic systems are used in the processing as well as packaging of all types of foods. Our April Product Focus will …

Sealing and Filtration

Would you agree that two of the biggest concerns with fluid power systems is keeping the fluid, oil or air, clean and keeping it from leaking?  Most fluid power experts would probably agree with that.  While sealing and filtration are not perfect sciences, we do have advanced technology to accomplish the goals of clean and leak free systems.

That is why we developed our new website, Sealing & Contamination Control Tips in 2016, to address these concerns.  All of the content on this new website is devoted to the questions of how to make hydraulic and pneumatic systems cleaner and more leak free.

If you are a system designer or maintenance professional, please take a look at our website for solutions to any questions about these two topics.  If your company makes seals, filters, or any components that accomplish the goals of cleaner and tighter systems, please share your information with our audience.  Just send your content to me and I will see that it gets posted on our Sealing &a…

Now it seems close ...

Three years seems like a long time, but it is not.  It seems like yesterday that I attended the 2014 IFPE Show in Las Vegas.  Guess what?  It is almost time for the 2017 IFPE Show and that three year period has flown by.

The largest display of fluid power technology will be featured in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 7th through the 11th.  Fluid Power World will be there taking part in this huge event at booth S-83257 in that South Hall.
Our editors will be circulating the show floor looking for great editorial content from the exhibitors that we will be publishing in coming issues.  Our videographers will be shooting awesome video that we will be sharing on our website and e-newsletters in 2017.

We are looking forward to a fabulous event in Las Vegas in March.  We hope to see you there!
