Key Issues for NFPA

What issues are the focus of the NFPA board, administration, and members?  Well, this slide from the 2019 Annual Conference helps to answer that question.


On the second day of the annual conference, President and CEO Eric Lanke explained the activities of the association in the area of workforce development.  The next slide reviews some of the activity in the area of Fluid Power Challenge.


NFPA has been active in the area of workforce development at the college, high school, and middle school levels for several years and have been carefully organized in a system called FAMTEN which involves activity at all three levels.  The NFPA is doing their part to address the need for an educated and qualified workforce for the present and future of the industry,

Closing Out

 Well, this is my last week of my fluid power career.  I have thanked and recognized many people in my previous posts but I want to thank and acknowledge Scott McCafferty, Managing Director of WTWH Media and friend for hiring me 7 years ago and allowing me to continue my career in fluid power.  Thank you Scott for your support and confidence in me!  It has been a pleasure working with you and I wish you continued success!  I also thank co-founder, Mike Emich for helping me with my career.  Mike has been a good friend and a steady good influence on many sales people.  Thank you Mike!
