2019 Fluid Power Technology Conference

We are not quite ready to open registration for our 2019 Fluid Power Technology Conference.  But, I can tell you that it is scheduled to take place at the Milwaukee School of Engineering on May 14-15, 2019.  On May 13th, there will be two full day workshops in conjunction with our FPTC also taking place at MSOE.

I invite you to please watch our website for the announcement of registration being open.  We have announced two very interesting keynote speakers.

Donna Ritson is the President of DDR Communications.  DDR’s business is based on a direct response methodology that delivers market research, business development, strategic alliance and actionable market intelligence for companies in virtually every B2B industry.  Donna will have some important insights about the fluid power industry.

Dan Kara is Vice President of our Robotic Group at WTWH Media and  is charted with driving the company’s robotics and intelligent systems initiatives. Prior to joining WTWH, he was Practice Director, Robotics at ABI Research and Chief Research Officer for Myria RAS, both research and advisory services firms focused on automation, robotics and intelligent systems.  Dan has presented on robotics in fluid power at the Fluid Power Industrial Consortium in 2018 at MSOE and his talk was most informative.

In addition to our keynote speakers, our Conference will include as many as 12-20 sessions about various fluid power topics including cylinders, safety, seals and much more.  We will be offering offsite tours to all attendees as well, including the fluid power lab at MSOE.

Tuesday and Wednesday sessions will be kicked off with continental breakfast, include a lunch break, hours of networking opportunities, and the Tuesday session will conclude with a cocktail reception.  Our website will be updated regularly with the sessions that are planned.

I will be posting more information on this blog about our upcoming event and I hope that you will consider attending.
