A big year for fluid power events

2017 is a really big year for fluid power events!  It starts with the 2017 IFPE/ConExpo ConAg Show in Las Vegas.  This is the biggest fluid power event in North America.


With over 450 exhibitors, this gathering of fluid power exhibitors will attract tens of thousands of visitors in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The very next week, the city of Indianapolis will host the NTEA Work Truck Show, the must attend event for the work truck industry.  For more information, visit their website.


Next on the list of events is not an actual trade show but an association conference with a trade show embedded within the event.  It is the NAHAD Annual Meeting & Convention being held April 2-6, 2017 at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.  Of course NAHAD stands for the Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution and the attendees are both hose and accessory distributors and manufacturers.  Click here for more information.


Then on May 1-4, the annual huge event for the oil and gas industry called OTC 2017 is scheduled for the NRG Park in Houston.  This show actually has lots of fluid power exhibitors because oil and gas is a very significant market for fluid power technology.

I will be writing about more fluid power events in 2017 in coming posts but for now, this is a LOT of information.  Our Fluid Power Technology Conference is scheduled for May 16-17, 2017 and I will be adding lots of content about that.
